PATIENT CARE
The ICU on the third floor is a 7-bed unit that offers the latest in technology and critical care. Professionally trained staff is on board to provide highly focused nursing care to the medical, cardiac, pulmonary and surgical patients who are seriously ill and require constant monitoring and specialized care and treatment. The second floor is also provided with a step down ICU or a High Dependency Unit (HDU), for patients who may no longer require intensive care but are not healthy enough to be shifted to the wards.
MEDICAL SERVICES
The department of General Medicine is one of the largest in Orchid Hospital. Our team highly competent and senior consultants provide a wide range of medical services for the adults in the field of general medicine which includes a 24 hour onsite service for acute undifferentiated medical conditions, medical emergencies and medical urgent conditions.The general medicine clinic at Orchid Hospital runs 24 * 7 * 365 a year. providing a range of non surgical health care to adult patients.
SERGICAL SERVICES
Laparoscopic Surgery Laparoscopy, both diagnostic and therapeutic, is done extensively. Laparoscopic procedures like Lap. Cholecystectomy, Lap. Nephrectomy, Lap. Adrenalectomy, Lap. Hysterectomy, Lap. Hernia repair are routinely performed. General Surgery General surgical patients are seen in the clinic six days a week to plan common cases like laparoscopic cholecystectomy, appendectomy, hernia repair, and small bowel and colon resections for cancer or gastrointestinal tuberculosis.
SUPPORT SERVICES
Radiology: The diagnostic modalities available within the hospital include MRI Scan, CT Scan (Multi-slice & Spiral), X-Ray, Mammography, EEG, ECG, image intensifier (fluoroscopy), color-flow Doppler, ultrasonography, bone densitometry and echocardiography. Physiotherapy: The physiotherapy department includes an outpatient clinic. Services offered include short wave diathermy, traction, therapeutic ultrasound, and exercises.
CANCER CARE

PAEDIATRIC CARE
The Hospital has a well supported department to meet the unique physical, emotional and developmental needs of children from infancy through childhood to young adulthood. It has a panel of high quality Consultants committed to providing care in various pediatric subspecialties, offering inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, surgical, behavioural and emergency services.
